In collaboration with the Cohasset Elder Affairs,  Join Joan Ilacqua from The History Project: Documenting LGBTQ Boston for a virtual presentation and conversation introducing the language and labels of the modern LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer) community and the history of how LGBTQ people identify and have been identified. Joan is happy to answer any and all questions about labels and pronouns!  She will also share resources where you can learn more as friends and family, allies, or members of the LGBTQ community. 

Joan is the Executive Director of The History Project: Documenting LGBTQ Boston. She is an archivist, public historian, and native of Plymouth, Mass. The History Project is Boston's LGBTQ community archives. Founded in 1980 and driven by volunteer archivists and curators, The History Project documents, preserves, and shares LGBTQ history. Please Register by Monday, May 17.
