Have you ever wanted to learn more about the vibrant traditions of Day of the Dead? Join us at the library for a special celebration where we'll create an ofrenda (altar) together. Please bring photos of your loved ones, if you would like, to honor them as a community while we celebrate a beautiful tradition from Mexico.
The event will begin with an insightful presentation on the significance of the ofrenda and the rich customs surrounding Day of the Dead. Afterwards, immerse yourself in crafts and enjoy refreshments as we celebrate.
Cap off the day with a screening of the enchanting movie Coco, which beautifully captures the essence of this cultural celebration. Come and celebrate with us, embrace the spirit of community, and cherish the memories of your loved ones in this memorable event!
